I really liked this, Ruhie. As you know, I'm a person of faith, but I'm also quite skeptical of things like signs. Still, I've experienced quite a few incidents like yours after Ren's death that I can only attribute to some supernatural sign he's sending me to let me know he's okay. So very strange, isn't it?

So true Tiffany! I think we can be both - religious/spiritual AND skeptical at the same time. I'm curious if you feel comfortable sharing any of the signs you saw after Ren's death? It's okay if you'd prefer to keep them private - I respect that these things can be incredibly personal. Experiences like these really do blow your mind, don't they? They have the power to make even the most skeptical, analytical minds wonder - and in some cases completely shift the way we think about things beyond our comprehension.

One thing that I still marvel about is how many days I see clouds. It was never typical for San Diego before, but for almost the whole year after Ren died, it rained all summer. Then it was gloomy and overcast for so long, there were news articles about how weird it was for San Diego weather. The thing is, Ren had said if he died, he'd visit me with the clouds and the rain, and I'd said but it's always blue here. He said that's how I'd know it was him.

There are a lot of other things, but this is a near-daily thing, so it comes to mind first.

As usual your subtract are perfect. I love. Reading. Them with sadness. Yes, I agree children have the sixth sense to what is going to happen. May I also add, dogs are also gifted with this sense. Thank you beta. Looking forward to your next subtrack.
